Established in 1976, this wildlife reserve spans more than 1,000 hectares and includes an information centre, playground and camp sites. A great spot for bird watching, the Humacao National Wildlife Refuge's fresh-water lagoons and tropical forest are home to numerous bird species, such as the Caribbean coot, white-cheeked pintail and West Indian whistling duck.
